About us image
Story Street Mobile Pantry is a community-driven, volunteer-based, non-profit, with an initiative dedicated to bringing free nutritious food directly to individuals and families in need. Our mission is to provide a welcoming, accessible, and dignified experience for ALL and to continue to develop new partnerships and programs to reach underserved populations to fulfill our shared mission to offer healthy, nutritious food at no cost to people in need.

We believe that food is a basic human right, and we are committed to making sure no one goes hungry in our community! As a fully mobile food pantry,  we can reach more clients and provide more opportunities for assistance to those who do not have the means to be able to get to a traditional pantry.

There are no qualifications or documentation required to receive food from Story Street Mobile Pantry! The only requirement to receive a pantry is the need for food. Our goal is to remove barriers and ensure that everyone has access to healthy, nourishing options, regardless of circumstance.

Monetary gifts, volunteers and food donations are always needed and appreciated!

MOBILE PANTRIES imageMOBILE PANTRIES image
Story Street Mobile Pantry has had to make the difficult decision to reduce our mobile pantry services from eleven locations down to just two per month. This change comes as a result of severe funding cuts, a sharp decline in food supply, and a decrease in donations—all while community need continues to rapidly rise. These challenges have made it impossible to sustain our previous level of service.  We understand the impact this will have on the community, and we are committed to exploring all possible avenues of restoring full operations as soon as possible.

We continue to serve the community through our remaining mobile locations at Carter Lake Community Presbyterian Church (1st Saturday of each month from 10am-noon) and New Visions Homeless Services (3rd Thursday of each month from 1-3pm) as well as by connecting individuals with other local food resources.

Supporters can help ensure these vital services continue by contributing food during our food drives or monetary donations at storystreetpantry.org/donate.
